Silvia Marussich-Starin

Mrs. Silvia Marussich-Starin has over 25 years of clinical and administrative experience with a variety of populations and programs. Mrs. Silvia Marussich-Starin has administered State funded programs for persons with developmental and related disabilities, including residential, educational, vocational and supported employment programs. She has additionally worked exhaustively to incorporate behavior analytic principles into the treatment of populations not widely treated behaviorally. These include in-patient substance-abusing adolescents and adults, out-patient substance-abusing adolescents and adults, cocaine-exposed infants and children, DUI offenders, and children in foster care programs.

Mrs. Silvia Marussich-Starin was also a practicing Florida Certified Behavior Analyst for many years. One of Mrs. Silvia Marussich-Starin's major interests is in reducing the negative effects that an individual's problem behaviors create for the entire family and significant others. Mrs. Silvia Marussich-Starin also consults with agencies and organizations throughout the United States to maximize the effectiveness of individual treatment. This includes environmental design, staff performance management, and developing and implementing systems to increase effectiveness and compliance with funding and licensing regulations. Mrs. Silvia Marussich-Starin is BAI's Director of Operations.
