Dr. Muhannad A. Fraihat, MD, MPH, HSCM
Dr. Fraihat received his M.B.B.S degree in Medicine and General Surgery from the University of Jordan (MD 1992). He then completed his Master degree in Public Health at Jordan University of Science and Technology (MPH 1997). His graduate training included a specialized fellowship in public health where his research focused on environmental health and health-care delivery and management. He then attended the School of Medicine at JUST and was awarded the degree in High Specialty in Community Medicine (HSCM 1999) and was a member of the dean's honors society. Dr. Fraihat internship and residency in community medicine were completed at the Royal Medical Services and his dissertation was on long term follow up of patients underwent PCTA.
Dr. Fraihat is a Senior Research Associate at Florida HealthCare Exchange, he performs global health research aimed at designing and evaluating interdisciplinary, community-based interventions in resource-poor settings with the goal of reducing inequities around the world specially in the Middle East region. He directs the health component of applying ABA therapy and early diagnosis and intervention in various centers in the Middle East region. Dr. Fraihat also performs interventions and research in using hormonal treatment to improve social abilities in children and adults on the autism spectrum.
